OK back again…This winter has been the worst winter here in 20 yrs. Even when we lived here I don’t remember it getting that cold.So need less to say we did not do much this winter.I mean Dan did some stuff in the shop on one of the trucks replaced some air lines.Worked on the office computer got it set up again..He tried to stay busy  but not much happening around the shop..Then other days he just said to heck he was sleeping in.Might as well. I played on the laptop quit a bit.Not warm enough to sit out boo who.Dean left for home around Feb10th. He will be back for bike week with his brothers and a few friends from home which is NY.and friends from down here.We would go over and visit with Helen,Dave,Beckie and James at the office and BS for a while and back to motor home.Dan and I had a nice valentines dinner at home and watched some tv and just enjoyed the night.On Feb 24th We volunteer at a store for teachers to shop at  for kids that need some extra help for school supplies. Such as paper,pencils,rulers,backpacks and so much more.But anyways we volunteered to help stock shelves,sweep,do inventory or what ever needed to be done.It was a new store opening the end of the month.The name is A gift for teaching. It was pretty cool to do.It was give a day get a day.Get a ticket for one park at Disney. February came and went.March started like Feb ended, still bit chilly..But more sun that was good.Dean did bike week then came back to the shop and stayed with us till he bought his deluxe van. That him and Dan replaced the carpet and set his bed.He says he sleeps just fine in there.It is a nice looking van and the guys did a good job putting the rug in. It was a nice visit. March got pretty busy for Dan.He buffed out some old lettering on Bobs truck. Bob is going to a different trucking company.Chris needed some body work done on his suburban so Dan did that and put it to primer now ready to paint.Came out pretty good. Then we replaced the carpet in Guys and Dales bass boat. They helped us with it,Came out rather nice we did good.That was a all weekend job pretty much. They took it out for a run because they also just got the engine rebuild and wanted to check it out.. Well the engine did not make it..Time for new one. Enjoy it when it gets up and going guys. Other then the daily do list clean,wash cook…we go out to eat with Dean or just us two at our favorite restaurant. Been getting motor home ready to go to our next stop which will be Dan’s nephew Brent and his family. March made me a year older.Got a lot of bday calls from home.Thanks for all the birthday wishes calls and on face book.Went to breakfast that morning with Dan and Dean . The Jones got a cake and sang happy birthday..Thank you guys. Hung out that day it was pretty nice out for a change.. Then to dinner that night with Larry, Maureen,Dean and Dan. Nice night.Then Dave took me for a bday lunch the next day,Dan and Dean went with us also.Back to the shop now to do more packing. Wednesday Dan and I went to Animal kingdom at Disney. It was a blast we enjoyed it and the day together. Got back to the shop and finish the last of the packing on the truck and camper.Ready to do in the Am.Got up about 8:ooam went to breakfast.Said our good bys and filled up camper with gas and on our way to Tampa Springs camp ground. Going to see Brent,Jenn,Chris and the kids. Dean came with us he had his van,He went to try his luck out at the casinos.He did fair not rich but not broke.Our visit with the family that we have not seen but in pictures except Brent and Chris but then we have not seen them in 15 yrs or more…Let me tell you the visit was great..The kids are Super, well adjusted right down good kids. Brent and Jenn are doing a great job..And Chris he is a good guy. Keep up the good work.. Wish we could stayed longer..Will miss them all..Saturday morning up and get ready for our trip to White Springs where we will be hosting a state day park. Dean came with us and visited for a couple of days and then home to NY. We sure do miss his company. One of our jobs is to Open and close the gates,open by 8:ooam close by dusk. keep the trails clean of brush and leaves.We use the john Deere six wheeler with a blower on the back and we ride the paved trail and let the blower do it’s thing.The paved trail is 3.4 miles long one way…Such a hard thing to do. LOL  The Swanney River runs along the park pretty cool.When we close the gates the whole park is ours till the next day..OK that is it for now.I should be or going to try to do the blog on a daily thing to keep you up to date.. Can you believe this here we are middle of January and 2010 !!!!! Boy I remember just being a kid and thought 2010 was  SO far away and well here it is. What happened? Where did the years go? I’m sure there’s a lot of you thinking the same thing….. Well now it’s time to get caught up on the blog again. We left Tenn December 10th. Heading to Fla. Stayed in Fairview cg in Ga. for the night. It was a nice clean place and for$12.oo a night.Plenty of sites. We got a site near office in the overnite sites.  Got parked and Dan was heading out to hook up water and electric and Angel snuck by him and off she went chasing a cat into the woods acroos from our site. So Dan goes after her I grab the leash and I go for her also.Now we both go after her in the woods with bob wire mixed in with the brush and yea we both got scratches from it on top of thick brush. We got her by the tree she put the cat up. She knew then she did wrong…. Now to get hooked up and get dinner. We were up and on the road by 8:00am. Stopped for gas walked the girls and grab a lunch at Fly J’s. Got to Dave Jones place about 4:30 Friday night. Dave was there waiting on us. Got the camper set up for the night,sat talked with Dave for a while. He went home and we had dinner and to bed. The next day we moved the camper into the shade,helps to keep it cool inside and keep the sun from fading paint on that side.Finished setting things up. Put up Christmas decorations and set my Christmas town up on the dash. Took most of day to set up but we got it done for now.Didn't do much for the next few days but hang out.Early Saturday morning we lost power,thought we popped a breaker but no.So Dan checked the wires and they were fine. But no power at outside outlet.Dan took the cover off and there were three small lizard things inside trying to stay warm.Well one got over warmed. So he changed the outlets checked the voltage  and still not enough. So Dan,Guy and Dale looked for a break in the wire which is covered pretty good they found it.Got it fixed and we got power again…. Friday one week before Christmas,I went to the office had coffee with Dave while Dan slept in. Bob was there[he is one of the drivers that parks his truck at Dave’s] well anyways he needed some welding done on his truck and both Dave and I told him that Dan can do it and that he’s good at it. Well that weld job turned into a paint job..For the next two weeks he had his work cut out for him. Got our package from home today 24th.We had a nice Christmas opened our gifts from home and then we went to Chris and Joanie’s house for dinner it was a nice day and visit. thanks for the dinner.   Then back home to check out our gifts again and have some cookies..ummm and thank you all..Dec 26 we had a burn out and there was a few people there. We had chicken,Cornish hens,potatoes,salad,bread,coleslaw and pumpkin bread. Guy brought his corn hole game and a few played.Rest of us sat around the fire and watched.It was abit chilly that night Helen and Guys mom had a blanket around their legs.But then again they are in their 70’s and 80’s. It was a nice night everyone seemed to have a good night. Jess and Megan came down for vacation, On their way down the car broke down Or so we thought that what happen. Jess gave us a call to see if we could help and of course that was no problem. We had a friend of ours Dean who just happen to be coming that way in his car hauler. Dean swapped her car for a Mercedes and in return they dropped a Cadillac off to a lady on the way here. No trouble at all. It worked out just fine all around. Thank you Dean.They seemed to had a great time while they were here.I hope so.  For the next week Dan stayed kind of busy on Bob’s truck,He wanted it done by new years. And he did body work and paint job.It looks real good.We had another burn out new years night and again to much food but it was good.We all made it to about 10:00pm.It’s a bitch getting old.ha ha…..So for the next few weeks we went to flea world with Dean and MJ out to dinner a few times,did things around here at Dave’s. Visit with different folks. Dan,Dean and I went to Dean’s property on the west coast of Fla to see if it was something that we Dan and I wanted to clean up and take down a old trailer.Nice piece of property just needs some cleaning up.We’ll see if we do or not……We got new tires for the truck boy it needed them bad What a different ride that truck is now nice and smooth.Started working on things on the motor home,got the screen door painted black,fix hall closet doors, touched up paint on the steps and more little things to do but we’ll get it done in time got to enjoy the sun you know. After all we did have some cold weather for about two weeks.Got down to 17 a couple of nights. Not good for the fruit. there goes up the price on them.We even had a little snow!!!!!!!!!!! Dan was about to go further south..not much of that left.So here we are 23rd of January got up to high70s.Cheryl and Jeremy had their sledding party today. Sure hope they had fun wish we were there. Well that’s it for now I guess if I forgot anything or one sorry…love you all
