We got here in Spencer Tenn, Sunday Nov 22nd. It was fairly warm when we got here…We both thought this was nice and could handle this weather for a while. And that is about what it lasted a while. But Tenn.. is having a cold snap that they usually don’t get till later in the year in this area. Now don’t that figure.But I think we can handle it. The visits with Vic and Fred have been good ones.Good food and lots of laughs… Makes up for the cold and Snow….O.K. now for the trip down here.Got up early had coffee and got ready to go .We left the home stead about 9:00am Wens.Stopped by Harris store got a coffee for the ride and on our way.Our first stop Dean’s house. He’s a good friend of ours.We got to his place about 2:30pm that afternoon.Gave the girls a good walk they were ready for that.We had a good visit that night, Dan got Dean on face book and he is liking it.Went out to dinner with Dean that night we ate talked laughed a nice night.The next morning we had a flat on the right inner rear tire. Dan and Dean got it off and fixed back on and holding up just fine. The value stem was leaking.OK we are on the road again heading to PA. Next stop Sharon’s ( our niece) we got to the camp ground about 4:00pm. Sharon,Nadja,Tee and James met up with us at the cg and went to dinner. We had a few good laughs during dinner,and then we all went back to the camper to catch up on the past few years that we all missed. And it has been some years. No more of that.You got some goooood kids there Sharon. You guys did a great job. Up early the next day on our way to Teen. Stopped for the night in Lexington Pa. This was one of the worst cg we had been to. Out on a narrow back road with no signs to let you know when you got to the cg till you realize ya have gone by it. So now we got to unhook the truck because there no place big enough to turn around with camper and truck.yay.So I take the truck and go ahead to the cg.Dan was not thrilled at all. But it was getting late and we were ready to stop for the night. Be in Spencer Tenn.the next day Saturday… Vicky came out to the cg and visit for awhile. She was trying to be at the cg before we got there but we beat her there.(Vicky is Dan’s sister) She may of beat us but it was dark and it is hard to see this place because there are no lights on the sign. But she made it and it was real good to see her again. We had a good time chit chatting. That Monday we went to the Grand ole opry Hotel in Nashville. There was Vicky, Murlene, Dan and me.What a great place that was all kinds of plants and the lights they had up for the holiday was unreal.We had a good time and a nice lunch ….Got back to Vic and Fred’s about 6:00. Todd,Teresa,Andrew and Cassidy came over to visit. That was the first time we met Teresa and kids.We all hung out for awhile got caught up on the past.The next few days we just hung out and visit.Thursday Todd,Teresa,Andrew,Cassidy,Vic Dan and I went to Fall Creek Falls state park checked out the water falls there and there were a few of them at that. Now off to have dinner .It was a good day and we had  great time.For the next few days we hung at the cg just catching up on cleaning and get settle in for a bit.Then we all went out for dinner at Ruby Tuesday Friday night Fred joined us. Fred is in a wheel chair so he don’t get out to much,it was good to have him there.We thought we were leaving that Saturday but we decided to stay till after Christmas.Of course Vic just loved that.And we did not mind it. The weather was good at the time so we thought we could handle it. And we could have but the weather took a change.It got cold and snowed …….So now we have changed our minds and we are heading south Thursday 10th.Should be at Dave's by Friday. Dan,Vic and I went to Todd and Teresa’s house for dinner before we head out. We have had a great time while we were here and enjoyed all the visits with the family ….Now it’s time for nighty night got to get on the road early in the am. So I will be back after we get settled in Fla. Sun..Sun Sun……..

It’s a nice sunny fall day,The girls and Dan are still sleeping. Of course Dan was awake and on computer at 4;oo am and the girls went out early this morning,so now there napping out. smile.Dan put his back out last Wednesday by picking up a chair and turning at the same time. Of course it was one of the chairs that he and Kyle made and there are kinda heavy. So need less to say he was a bit sore.Then last night laying in bed he turned,moved just right and his back snapped back in place. How lucky that was because driving would not of been good. OK let’s see what has been going on.We have been busy packing things up.Putting all yard stuff away for the winter. You just do not realize how much stuff you got out till you start picking it all up.Dan got new LED tow lights for the truck put them on yesterday.another thing done.He has been busy trying to get four chairs made before we go,he has one more to sand and they are done.Now to get them picked up before we go. I did my last day at work Thursday. A lot of my customers came in just to say by and wish us a safe trip.A bunch of good people.I will miss them all.But if things go right Jess,Meg and Amanda are coming down this winter.We’ll meet up with them and check Universal studio.That will be cool.What would be super cool is to get the kids to come down.(hint) Time will tell.So now the truck is all loaded and the camper is just about done too.And now I got to wash the windows.Oh yea!!!! OK i’m back I had to go and get some things done.Those windows just would not wash themselves. Teal and Ken had us Cheryl, Jeremy and Kyle over for dinner a few days ago,It was a good meal Ken made some ribs that just melted in your mouth.And the rest of the meal was just as good.And the company was good too.Oh Ken and Teal are Jeremy’s parents.Great people.Friday the 13th a few of us girls went to mom’s. It’s something we do each year before we leave. Only this time the daughters came with us OH BOY!! We laughed and laughed some more.A few times mom and I just looked at each other and shook our heads. Silly girls.And that just wasn't the daughters. We all had a great time…

We left about 11:00 pm. Had a dinner to get ready for the next day at Dave and Jenn’s. Dan and the girls were awake when I got home I filled him in on the night. Up early to get things cooking and a few other things done.Dinner is at 2:30pm. Dave and Jenn cooked the ham and turkey.Jenn’s first turkey and she did good just at the end when it was clean up time Jeremy was taking the meat off the turkey he found a bag in the turkey,Now just think back of how many of us did the same or worse.ha ha. We all did at one time or another.And like I said it was a good tasting turkey!! . Jenn also made green bean casserole good to.Cheryl and Kyle made name tags made out of oak leaves,pine cones and acorns.She also made two pies,potatoes,assortment of vegs.I did some vegs also. The meal was superb.The kids did a great job. Jim and Pat came down from Maine, there was also mom,dad,Jenn,David,Cheryl,Jeremy,Kyle,Deb,Dan and me.Great time.David put in a wood stove this past month . He did it all right from the start. Put up a new chimney,did all the work on the inside.He finished it Friday night and had a fire going in it when Jenn got home. It was so cozy that they slept right on the floor near the stove.He did a great job. We hung out for a while after dinner and then home, Kido is sleeping over.We got to have our last sleep over before we go, boo hoo.We pull the couch out into a bed put on Scooby Doo movies and we are ready to chill out. I am going to miss him so much grandpa is too that boy is his side kick and Kyle loves hanging with the grandpa.Tuesday night we went to Cheryl’s for dinner. Cheryl made a chicken pot pie and I did spaghetti.There was mom,dad,David,Jenn, Cheryl,Jeremy,Kyle,Carrie,JW,Dan and me. Another good meal and great company ….MISS YOU ALL………. It is Wednesday morning and We are ready to go,went down to see Cheryl and kido before we left they were getting ready for school and work.Kyle told us to have a safe trip and he will miss us,Well need less to say  that brought on the tears.Dam it.I thought I was going to get away without that happening.OK I will keep in touch and do blog when we get Fla.love and miss you all.Have a great Thanksgiving to all.. Eat well and give thanks to those who are near and dear to you…………

All right I’m back, I thought I try and keep caught up with it this time. ha ha…Not a whole bunch has happened since last entry.I’m still working at Delays store time is coming to an end there for the winter.I will miss it and the gang. The store has been under construction for a couple of months now. They are adding on to the side and on the back of building expanding the store quite abit.it will be pretty cool when it’s done. There are going to be some new added features to the store. I’ll have to get Megan and Jess email pics to keep me up dated. Should be done by the time we get back.They start paving the parking lot this week.Hope all enjoy it…….Other then work I keep busy at home with our girls and Dan.ha ha.. Dan’s been putting the tent back up so he can make a few Adirondack chairs for a repeat customer. She wants four  of them before we go. Time for him to get his rear in gear.ha ha….

  The ice storm was just to much for it and down it went.

Our niece Erin celebrated her 18th birthday on the 8th. Her friends and family had a party for her.Dan had his 53rd birthday on the 15th.We had dinner at Cheryl and Jeremy’s house, Dave Jenn Carrie JW mom dad Kyle and I.All ate well and cupcakes  for desert.

Oct was breast awareness month.. And my sister Debbie is a one year survivor.

  With many more years to come.Folks raised a lot money for the cure.David raised one hundred eighty dollars in a day at work.Good going Dave.Cheryl made sandwiches for the event .So they both got jersey's for the hard work.We had quite a turn out for the walk last Sunday. It was just a three mile walk but enough for some.Kyle walked with us, he did real good.Had to have a little help towards the end.It just started to rain when we got there.The walk started at 10:30 by the time we got back to the beginning it started to snow,it snowed all day. Did not get much but a dusting in most places. This was also Carrie May birthday. Happy birthday to you…  And by the way for those who do not know Carrie and JW are adopting a baby or two Good for them!!!!!!Dan Jeremy Travis(our nephew)and Rupert a family friend for many years…. All went to Charleston Maine this past Sunday.Rupert borrowed a one ton dump truck and  a 30 foot trailer to bring back the snow cat and seven golf carts. They left at six in the morning got back home about 10;30 that night.It is bout four hour drive there and a few hours to load and long ride home. They had a flat on the trailer and one on the truck outer rear.Unloaded the carts at the golf course in Amherst.The snow cat is Jeremy's.Him and Dan plan on getting it running fix it up and be in it this winter….Jenn works at an heating oil dealer,and she was able to get a truck to deliver propane for us.They were making deliveries out this way any ways.It was a lot better then having to get the camper ready to move. Thanks Jenn… Cheryl Jeremy Dan and I put the cover on the tent Thursday, It went on better then i thought it would… So now it will stay dry ….It rained all day this past Saturday so we just hung out for the day.That night Carrie and JW had a costume Halloween party at his parents house. It was areal nice party. Seemed like all had a good time. Thanks you guys Had fun….Got up early Sunday I went and did laundry and the others started on splitting wood. When i got back I helped out. We got about three cords cut and stacked.What a work  out….But it was fun……… OK see you next time….. To those doing Halloween this Saturday have a spooky scary night  BOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
